Ann Lowe Art Print
This is a print of my illustration of Ann Lowe, the first African American to become a noted fashion designer. She created designs for high society families such as the Rockefellers and the Du Ponts. In 1953, she designed Jackie Kennedy's wedding dress. A collection of five of her designs are held at the Costume Institute at the Met.
This is the perfect small gift for the Ann Lowe fan, the fashion enthusiast, or the person who just wants a piece of Black history art to put on their wall.
Using photographs as reference, I illustrated this digitally using Adobe Photoshop and my trusty Wacom drawing tablet. I print it here at my home studio and it currently comes in three print sizes: 5 x 7 inch (12.7 x 17.8 cm), 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm) and 11 x 14 inches (27.9 x 35.6 cm). Every size is on bright white, medium weight paper.
