Arthur Mitchell Art Print

This is a print of my illustration of Arthur Mitchell. Mitchell created the first black classical ballet company, the Dance Theatre of Harlem. He's been recognized as a MacArthur Fellow (genius grant) and has received the US National Medal of Arts, which is the highest American honor given for achievement in the arts.

This is the perfect small gift for a ballet enthusiast or a person who just wants a piece of Black history art to put on their wall.

Using photographs as reference, I illustrated this digitally using Adobe Photoshop and my trusty Wacom drawing tablet. I print it here at my home studio and it currently comes in three print sizes: 5 x 7 inch (12.7 x 17.8 cm), 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm) and 11 x 14 inches (27.9 x 35.6 cm). Every size is on bright white, medium weight paper.
