Benjamin O. Davis, Jr. Illustration / Tuskegee Airmen Art Print
This is a print of my illustration of Benjamin O. Davis, Jr. Davis was the first black general officer in the US Air Force and commander of the 99th Flying Training Squadron, known as the Tuskegee Airmen. In 1998, he was advanced to four-star general, the highest rank achievable in the Air Force. Side note: the propeller in the background is from a P-47 Thunderbolt.
This is the perfect small gift for someone who is in the US Air Force or a person who just wants a piece of Black history art to put on their wall.
Using photographs as reference, I illustrated this digitally using Adobe Photoshop and my trusty Wacom drawing tablet. I print it here at my home studio and it currently comes in three print sizes: 5 x 7 inch (12.7 x 17.8 cm), 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm) and 11 x 14 inches (27.9 x 35.6 cm). Every size is on bright white, medium weight paper.
