James Baldwin Illustration / Black History Art Print

This is a print of my illustration of James Baldwin, the novelist, essayist, playwright, poet, and social critic. His essays explored tensions and racial, sexual, and class distinctions in mid 20th century America.

This is the perfect small gift for the James Baldwin fan, the literature enthusiast, or the person who just wants a piece of Black history art to put on their wall.

Using photographs as reference, I illustrated this digitally using Adobe Photoshop and my trusty Wacom drawing tablet. I print it here at my home studio and it currently comes in three print sizes: 5 x 7 inch (12.7 x 17.8 cm), 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm) and 11 x 14 inches (27.9 x 35.6 cm). Every size is on bright white, medium weight paper.
